Faqtors, headquartered in metropolitan Washington DC, was launched by David Chandler Thomas in 2004 to leverage his 25+ years experience founding and leading high-tech start-up firms. Our mission is to assist early stage technology firms raise capital, develop sales channels, and improve their corporate image.  


Mr. Thomas holds both a BA and an MA in economics from California State University (SJSU) and a PhD in economics from George Mason University (GMU). He is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Ball State University where he lectures in Macroeconomics and Game Theory.  

Mr. Thomas is also a serial entrepreneur who over the past thirty years, has founded and led several successful tech start-ups raising over $75 million dollars in seed, strategic, and venture capital. His most recent effort, Intacct, based in Silicon Valley, is one of the leading software as a service (SaaS) companies, with more than 7,000 enterprise customers. 

In recent years, Mr. Thomas has represented the tech industry as Executive Director of the Software Industry Association and EVP of Business Development for TechAmerica. He currently serves as a member of the Advisory Board for the College of Health and Human Services at George Mason University.
